Shopify Stores Using Impact: Stats + How to Detect It
Data window: 23 October to 6 November 2026 (Europe/London). Based on 676 successful Shopify scans on What Theme Detector. These are stores people chose to check with our tool, not a census of every Shopify store. Counts were pulled later on 6 November than our November data page, so a few are slightly higher.
Quick answer: Impact showed up in 13 of 676 Shopify scans (1.9%), which makes it the joint 6th (tied with Shrine PRO) most detected theme in our log. It is a paid theme by Maestrooo. To check whether a specific store uses Impact, paste its URL into the detector below.

What is the Impact theme?
The official listing describes Impact as: “Bold design made for entertainment and audio brands.”
Impact is a paid theme from Maestrooo, the same studio behind Prestige. Its listing pitches it at bold brands, with entertainment and audio named first, and it ships with three presets.
How common is Impact? Our scan data
Impact accounted for 1.9% of the 676 Shopify stores scanned from 23 October to 6 November 2026. For every 100 Dawn scans we saw about 15 Impact scans. Among paid themes it ranks joint 4th in our log.
| Theme | Scans | Share of Shopify scans | Free or paid |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dawn | 89 | 13.2% | Free |
| Horizon | 61 | 9.0% | Free |
| Impulse | 39 | 5.8% | Paid |
| Prestige | 38 | 5.6% | Paid |
| Symmetry | 21 | 3.1% | Paid |
| Shrine PRO | 13 | 1.9% | Paid |
| Impact | 13 | 1.9% | Paid |
Of the 13 Impact scans, 8 (62%) reported Theme Store ID 1190. The other 5 reported no Theme Store ID, which usually means the theme was uploaded as a file, duplicated from a development copy, or heavily customised.

How to tell if a store uses Impact
The fastest way is our free detector. Paste the store URL and it reads the store’s public Shopify.theme object, which Shopify adds to the page source of Online Store themes. If the result says Impact under the theme schema name, the store is built on Impact.
Prefer to check by hand? It takes under a minute:
- Open the store in a desktop browser.
- Right-click the page and choose View page source (or press Ctrl+U, Cmd+Option+U on a Mac).
- Press Ctrl+F (Cmd+F) and search for
Shopify.theme. - Look at
schema_name. If it reads"schema_name":"Impact", the store runs Impact. Atheme_store_idof1190confirms it was installed from the Theme Store.
The name field is the store’s own admin label, so it can say anything (“Live theme”, “Copy of Impact”, a Git branch). schema_name is set by the theme’s code, which is why it survives renames. More on that in our guide to identifying a renamed Shopify theme.
When the detector cannot see a theme, it is usually because the store is headless (a custom front end such as Hydrogen) or the developer removed or changed the theme’s schema. In those cases no free tool can name the theme reliably.
Public examples of stores using Impact
The official Impact listing on the Shopify Theme Store shows these stores under “Stores using this theme” (source). We re-checked each one’s public Shopify.theme object on 6 November 2026:
| Store | schema_name | Version | Theme Store ID |
|---|---|---|---|
| swell.com | Impact | 5.4.1 | null |
| koh.com | Impact | 3.0.0 | null |
Notice that some report a null Theme Store ID even though the publisher lists them as customers. That is common when a theme is deployed from code rather than installed from the Theme Store: the ID is dropped but the schema name stays.
Frequently asked questions
Is Impact a free Shopify theme?
No. Impact costs $400 USD (one-time) on the Shopify Theme Store, sold by Maestrooo.
Who makes the Impact theme?
Maestrooo. You can see the publisher on the official Theme Store listing.
How can I tell if a website uses Impact?
Paste the URL into What Theme Detector, or view the page source and search for Shopify.theme. A schema_name of “Impact” means the store runs Impact, even if the store renamed it in the admin.
How popular is Impact?
In our log of 676 Shopify scans from 23 October to 6 November 2026, Impact appeared 13 times (1.9%), ranking joint 6th (tied with Shrine PRO). That reflects which stores people check with our tool, so treat it as a demand signal rather than official market share.
What is the Theme Store ID for Impact?
1190. Stores that installed Impact from the Theme Store usually report theme_store_id: 1190 in Shopify.theme. Uploaded or code-deployed copies often report null.
Can a store look nothing like the Impact demo and still use it?
Yes. Presets, custom sections and code edits can change the look a lot. The schema name is the reliable signal, not the design.
